Here's the situation: a client of mine needed a portrait of herself. The problem was that the only professional photos she had of herself also included her boyfriend. This solution was to digitally remove him from the image, which was much more economical than paying for another photo shoot. You will also notice that the "hot spots" on her face have also been dealt with. This is a fun example of what skilled digital re-touching can accomplish. Note: be sure to obtain written permission from your photographer before submitting portraits for re-touching.
